Blood drive set for Sept. 8

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Beach Betterment Association is sponsoring a community blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Blue Ocean Music Hall, 4 Oceanfront.

This blood drive is being held in memory of Diane Mary (Abdulla) Kalil.

Donors are asked to call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800733-2767) or visit RedCross-Blood.org and enter “Salisbury” to schedule an appointment.

Streamline the donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCross-Blood.org/RapidPass to complete a predonation reading and health history questions on the day of the appointment. Donors will receive a Red Cross Hello Kitty collectible item.
